We are a small working kennel. Our aim is to produce labradors suitable for working, showing or simply as the best pets around.  We strive to improve the breed by ensuring consistently low hip scores, perfect elbows and eyes free from P.R.A., calm temperaments and superb characters, a good all round dog who shows no signs of any nervous disposition or character defects - in short the best labrador you can find to share your life for hopefully many years to come.  All our dogs are vet checked, microchipped and free from internal and external parasites.  When rearing a litter we use 24 hour surveillence for the pups safety, start weaning when the pups dictate they are ready - no forced seperation from their mum (or dad for that matter!) we always use the very best kibble, pre-soaked so as not to upset delicate little tummies.  They are accustomed to hearing various noises from the moment their ears open as we play a "Sounds For Life" CD in the nest while their mum is still feeding them, so they are acclimatised to many and  varied sounds.

Our dogs are trained to the gun and enjoy many and varied activites from basic obedience to agility, scurries, field trials,  peg dogs, rough shooters dogs, and of course furthering our name in the show ring. They ALL live in the house with us, although we do have indoor and outdoor kennels if the need arises. They are all very active, both mentally and physically, not simply breeding machines with no other occupations to fill their minds. They have access to the 200 acres of woodland we have here,  along with enjoying swimming in the lake and playing in the river they enjoy romping through the woods daily before coming home to nice cosy beds. Come and see for yourself...the kettles always on....

Here is Chris using Berry to "Dog In" the pheasants. This means simply using the dog to make the birds head home and away from the farmers crops.
